Interested in volunteering with children?

Our Teddy Bear Hospital volunteers work with children in local schools, teaching them about health and familiarising them with healthcare to ease their fears about going to the doctors!

Join us and make health fun for kids!

  • Wednesday afternoon sessions in local primary schools.

  • Teach children about good health and medicine using their teddy bears.

  • Open to ALL KCL students throughout the year!

Reviews from Previous Volunteers

"My experience as a volunteer has been so fun and wholesome! At the start I was guided through the sessions very helpfully by the others and eventually I gained confidence in managing groups of children myself. You can see how much the primary school children enjoy themselves and it really makes the time worthwhile."

"I've really enjoyed TBH this year, it's allowed me to step out of my comfort zone, as I've never had the opportunity to work with children before.  other programme would give me such a unique opportunity!"

"I've really enjoyed volunteering for TBH this year. Visiting the schools and teaching the children about health has been a valuable experience. Not only has it been enjoyable for the children, I feel like I have gained confidence from volunteering and learned so many skills that I'll be able to use later on.
